License Reapplication - CA BRN

hi all..

i failed my nclex-rn this month and would like to know when i can mail my reapplication? in CA they said that 45 days is the allowable time 'till i can seat for an exam. Im wondering if i can now mail my reapplication so that after 45 days i can sit for an exam?

I edited the title of your thread since one does not apply for the NCLEX exam, you are going to be reapplying for licensure as an RN to the Board of Registered Nursing to be able to get permission to sit for the exam again.

They will not let you schedule a date for testing until after the 45 days are up, they will not release approval to Pearson-Vue until after that time.

You can send it in now, but I always recommend that you prepare first and then do this. It usually is going to be longer than the 45 days before you are ready to retest.

I found that i passed nclex pn 2 days ago- would like to obtain license # as so0n as possible- any website to log on?

Which BON if Ca then I do not think you will see number until they process your fees. Otherwise generally can find number on BON website
