I was wondering if a LPN has a license in a state e.g. new york, and wants to work in another state e.g. florida, can she keep a license in EACH state?
Or can she only have one license and transfer it around?
Can you be licensed in more than one state at the same time?
sorry for being confusing!

you can hold a license in different states butg i believe that what is passing [license test] in one state may not be accepted in another state
i am not absolutely sure about this, maybe someother poster has more info
Fortunately, the NCLEX is a standardized exam nationwide, so once you pass it, you don't have to retake it and the passing standard doesn't change from state to state.

I am currently licensed in 4 states. I did not have to take any additional tests for any state. Just pay the fee and apply. There is no limit to how many you can have that I know of. You just have to be in good standing w/ each board.
