Does anyone how long after you've taken and passed the NCLEX it is that you get your license info for NJ??
I took it last Weds 9/17, found out I passed yesterday 9/19 (YAYYY!!!!!). And I want to start applying to places with a license number, but when do I get that??

Hi,
I took my NCLEX on September 4th and just recieved a letter 2 days ago with my # on it. The letter states that they will be sending my license in 10 days...but at least I have the number.
Oh, the letter also said you can call the automated fax line to get a fax of your license while you are waiting, but I did it 4 times and never got the fax (sigh)
I know your anxious but you should get it in a few weeks, in the meantime, send out those resumes, job hunting is tough!
Good luck.
Thanks! Hopefully I should get it in two weeks then!
I have a job at Newark Beth Israel, but so far they've been more than shady with everything, even though the pay is great. So I'm going to keep applying :)
happy hunting to you!

one can check online to verify license number and expiration date:
choose licensed practical nurse or registered nurse in drop down box
new jersey license verification
Theres a license verification website: http://www.state.nj.us/cgi-bin/consumeraffairs/search/searchentry.pl
But does anyone know how often they update it? It hasn't been since Sept 5th and I need my license number by Oct 3 in order to start work as scheduled that next Monday the 6th. Hopefully it's up by then, or I get it in the mail by then.
:banghead:
If I am correct, they update it monthly. If so maybe the update will happen Oct 5?? Good luck.
