Thank you so much!!!

I recently saw your thread and they are asking for another $150 for the licensing. They mail you your passing letter and u sign and date and send it back along with the check. It's a new thing cuz CA is broke!!! FYI

So you're saying that you DO have to pay an additional 150 on top of the 200 for the exam initially, and the payment to the state?

Yes, that's correct. This is what I'm going thru as of now.

Yea, CA is the rip of state, i you look at others states, you don't see that rip of like here

I want to clarify this. So I paid $150 for the RN application fee, $200 for the NCLEX, and THEN it's another $150? What's the second $150 fee called? Or did you not pay the $150 original fee? So altogether we pay $300 to the state and $200 for NCLEX?

Clarify if you are referring to LVN/BVNPT or RN/CABRN. The $200 NCLEX testing fee to Pearson Vue is independent of state fees.

For LVN there is $150 application fee,

$200 NCLEX testing fee then once you receive your pass letter there is a $150 licensing fee (total $500 for application , testing &licensing fees plus fingerprint /background check fees of $49)

For CABRN there is $150 application fee, $50 if wish an interim permit or temp license, $200 NCLEX test fee to Pearson and $49 for background check

The fees listed are as per CA BVNPT and CA BRN websites.
