Good morning nurses!
I will be graduating from LPN school in a month and registering to take NCLEX as soon as they will allow. I live in NJ currently (Where my school is), but would be getting my license for PA as I'm moving there in a couple of months.
If I obtain my license for PA, do I need to take the NCLEX in PA as well? Or may I utilize testing sites in my current state. I may be LPN, but I thought NCLEX questions were better suited in "general"

You only take the NCLEX once if you pass. You can take it at any location you want and send the results to the state where you applied for a license.

What Ms. Otter said :)
You're applying to the PA board of nursing for a license but you can register to take the exam anywhere there is a PearsonVue testing center. Good luck!

You can go to school in state A, take NCLEX in state B, and get a license in state C. It is a national test, so it doesn't matter where you take the test.
