I am wondering if any of you have used or had patients who used a knee walker/knee roller after foot surgery and what you think about this device.\
Especially do you think this is a good, safe device for people with knee arthritis and those who are close to the 300# weight capacity - or both arthritic and near the wt capacity.
Thanks!

The decision to use the device and the safety factor is up to the provider.
I had foot surgery, my orthopedic surgeon felt they were not safe. Wheelchaired it for 6 months.

I think this is something that needs to be discussed between patient and provider. The provider is the one with knowledge of the specifics of the surgery, the patient's history, the expected prognosis, etc. An anonymous forum is not the place to ask these questions.

Is this for you? If so, we suggest you ask your provider. Many factors go into selecting mobility devices.
