Hi! I created a thread for those applying to the nursing program in 2022.

Hi I took my exam this month and what really helped me was nursehub, I didn't really use pocketprep that much. For nursehub I focused more on the math and A&P section because the reading section had really long passages and I just could not focus. nursehub will teach you everything you need for math. like Lucky said you need to know all your units for converting. I memorized the gallon man, king henry mnemonic, etc. if you can answer the nursehub questions for math you will be ready for that section 100%.

for A&P I used my old notes from class but also any practice question that I could find online. you never know what you don't understand until you see a question for it. I struggled more with endocrine system because that's one of the chapters that my professor skipped so if your class skipped some chapters try to watch some Youtube videos on it and get some practice questions.

I mainly recommend taking the breaks when you need them. I wish I took a break, I would have done much better in reading comprehension haha. 4 hours is a long time I really doubt anyone runs out.

Hi, I applied through lehman 360 but how do you submit all required documents and transcripts from other colleges. In person or mail?

Hello, 

Can anyone please clarify if the HESI A2 exam for Lehman Accelerated BSN also tests for Learning styles as well? 

Or it includes only Reading, Math, Anatomy and Physiology and Critical thinking only?

Lehman HESI includes learning style. It is not scored, it just lets the school know what type of learning this candidate prefer. It ask you how you study (diagrams, graph or by listening, visualizing the whole picture or analyzing every detail) and it is only 5 questions.

Hi, does Lehman’s version of the HESI (A2 V2 with critical thinking) test biology, Chemistry, and physics for science? Or just A&P?

Hi guys, 

Are the recommendation letters required for Lehman ABSN? If so, how do we submit them cause while submitting the nursing application, it won't give that option for it.

Cutting it super close with my HESI exam (Just realized yesterday it needs to be done within the week). I tried to contact the school today to ask if distance HESI was allowed instead of at a testing center, but they didn't answer or call me back. Did anyone else do it as distance?

Hey Sarah,

I registered for the HESI on 3/3 and took it yesterday on 3/8. 6 days of studying but I was able to pass with a cumulative score of 89.33.

A&P = 92

English = 82

Math = 84

CT = 850

Science GPA = 3.9

I’m submitting my application later on today as I’m attempting to get into the accelerated program and need to have my scores before 3/15. I got my scores immediately after taking my test btw. 

Math scores was 94***

Hello,

I hope everyone’s semester is going well. I took my HESI A2 exam and passed. Here is my stat:

CT: 940

English: 94

Math: 96

A&P: 100

Overall 97%

Unfortunately my prerequisite GPA is really bad (3.80). Currently taking Microbiology (last prerequisite). Applying for Generic Program.

Everyone please share your stats ?

There is no recommendation letters required for Lehman ABSN or traditional

Hi there,

Yes, the distance HESI is allowed instead of at a testing center. A lot my friends took online. It’s up to you how you want to take it.

Noh, Lehman doesn’t have biology, Chemistry, or physics for science on the HESI A2 exam. Lehman only test on Reading Comprehension, Math, A&P and Critical thinking.
