Hi, I'm currently a Lehman student applying for the fall 2021 session. I just made this thread to find anyone else who's applying for fall 2021. Feel free to share GPA's, HESI scores and even ask questions or give advice!
Hi guys
Under recommenders information, it says we need to add due date and personal notes/msg. What due date are we writing on that and does personal notes/msg mean how we relate to the recommender?
And also under the GPA, it is asking for total credit hours and quality points. Are those the number at the bottom of the transcript Cum Total?? I was confused with this.

I'm unsure where you are reading this?
Subjects we are to be tested are:
1. Reading Comprehension
2.Mathematics
3.Anatomy and Physiology
4. Critical Thinking and
5. Learning Styles.
I’ve been using HESI A2 Evolve ED.5 and https://www.boostprep.com/shop/ along with Youtube and various practice material. I’m not sure what “Learning styles” entails at all. If you’d like to exchange numbers/email we can start a study support group.
Hi,
I took HESI two times but there were not Learning styles when I took. First exam the HESI was style A and my second HESI was style D. two exams were different but similar.
I did not study Evolve at all, but I studied a lot of questions from Quizlet. it helped me a lot. In Quizlet, you will find every section including learning style. My score was reading 860, math 840, A&P 930, critical thinking 940.
I did not study for the first exam because I just wanted to see what kind of questions for HESI. and then I prepared for using quizlet.
They give you 4 hours including breaktimes. If you use the break time you will lose your exam time. If you come back from your break time, you have to do a security check again ( it is really annoying, you have to sign out and sign in again it took about 15 min) so be prepared.
Also, You guys have two chances for HESI as far as I know ( actually Lehman chairman told me it is okay to take more than two times if you can- just make it sure with the supervisor).
Best of luck!

Hi, reading, math, and a& p must be 750 above and critical must be 800 above. I don t know what is the cutline.
critical thinking is not that difficult, such basic. if your patient gives you a chocolate box, r you going to accept it or not?. I can not tell more, it may violating ?
Mostly critical thinking is the key.
Are you sure you can take it more than once? I was told last year that you can absolutely sit for the exam only once. Just want to make sure so maybe I will email the department. I am scheduled almost up to the last day you can take it! ha. I need as much study time as I can get! I am applying to the accelerated and generic and for the accelerated all score must be in the 900's if not higher.sigh.

Hi Guys! I hope you are all well and safe during these unprecedented times! I am also a student at Lehman College and will be taking my HESI examination in March. I had a question for anyone who previously took the HESI or will be taking as well. I know the 5 subjects on the exam are Reading comprehension, A&P, Math, Critical Thinking and Learning Styles but I was a little confused if Grammar and Vocabulary fell under the Reading Comprehension section. Are we going to be tested on those sections? I believe these are sub-sections in the Reading Comprehension section but can someone confirm that for me? THANK YOU SO MUCH
