Anyone applied for Lehman College’s Fall 2020 FNP program? I noticed there aren't any threads on it nor is there much info on this site about Lehman’s FNP program. Let me know if anyone applied. What are your stats, experiences, and thoughts on the program!
Update: If anyone is still interested (for future reference)..Got my acceptance on 03/12/202 even though application deadline is 03/15/2020.
Cumulative GPA: 3.45
Nursing GPA: 3.65 Got amazing recommendations (1 from manger and 1 from an FNP I used to work with). 2 1/2 years med surg peds experience. Great personal statement. No interview.
I received my BSN at Lehman. Don’t Know if that helped.
This year we weren’t required to take the GRE nor the GNAT.

Hey!! Not sure if anyone is still on this forum but I also received by acceptance on 3/12.
I actually had to send them an email last week because I haven’t heard anything after I submitted my enrollment decision. Did you receive a follow up email @JulesOb?
Hey. No I haven’t heard back from them after I submitted my enrollment decision either. I did receive an email on March 20th stating they were going to be going virtual with admission decisions considering they are still processing applications. I’m 100% sure we’ll probably have a virtual orientation and have our first semester 100% online. Did you get a response when you emailed them?

Hi there congratulations on getting in FNP PRORAM! That’s definitely in my future goal. I read in your post that you did your BSN from Lehman. Could you please please help me get little idea how the program is, how to choose professors, how are the classes? I applied for their RN TO BSN ONLINE PROGRAM. Thanks a lot!
Hi! Thank you!! Like every program, there are pros sad cons. Lehman is no different. Professors are great. Program isn’t easy but it’s not extremely difficult. Find study partners and be open to share materials(even if it’s online, you can still connect with people). You all are in it to graduate so it’s not a competition! I dint know how it works with an online program but with us, the classes were picked for us by the department so we had no say in professors. With that being said, full time is 3 classes (12 credits) per semester plus a clinical. Again like professors, you have no say in clinical sites. You’re placed by the department. Maybe things have changed but I doubt it. Let me know if you have any questions. Goodluck!
