Lehman College FNP Program - Fall 2023

Hey All ,

I wanted to start a topic to see if anyone got into Lehman College this year (2023) for the FNP program and if they are considering going. Also have you heard any pros/cons about the school? If anyone is currently enrolled now any feedback and/or advice would be greatly appreciated!

@futureRNinTheMaking so I regards to classes you have to go in once a week in person but you have all your classes scheduled that one day which is good. It's 45 credits but if you're getting the certificate it's 30 credits and tuition is $470 each credit so cheap under $5,000 a semester! I love it LOL. I hope you get an answer soon!

That sounds good to me LOL ! Is it 2 classes a semester ?

It's two classes per semester if you're going for the certificate only (you already have a masters degree) and if not the first two semesters are three classes than after it's just two.

Did anyone receive registration info yet?

I still haven't heard back from admissions ... this makes me worried that I didn't get in now if everyone else is getting registration info

@NYCommunityRN I haven't gotten any registration information yet. And @futureRNinTheMaking can you try to send out an email to admissions and see if they are still sending out responses? Don't panic yet! Think positive.

Thanks for letting me know @pickychic4eva. I tried calling today but didn't get through. I was wondering what was going on since online it says that we would get an email with registration info a few weeks after acceptance.

@NYCommunityRN I'm going to see if I can reach out to someone and I'll let you know. I know registration for Fall 2023 opens April 19th so we still have time to get info.

The school sucks already with communication I've learned so far I've had to call numerous people just to find out that they are not even open they operate online only but I'm still holding out hoping for an acceptance soon

Yes try to email admissions and send an email or create a chat. That's what I had to do in the beginning and it took a while but someone finally got back to me. I'm hoping you hear something soon!

@NYCommunityRN I was able to get in contact with someone and they said next month we will get information on registration. No exact date was mentioned; just sometime "next month."
