Lehman College FNP Program - Fall 2023

Hey All ,

I wanted to start a topic to see if anyone got into Lehman College this year (2023) for the FNP program and if they are considering going. Also have you heard any pros/cons about the school? If anyone is currently enrolled now any feedback and/or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi there! Did you ever end up going to Lehman's FNP program? I just got an email for an interview and I was hoping for some insight about how the program is from anyone who when to Lehman for FNP

I ended up going. Not sure what you want to know specifically. I mentioned some things that people had asked about in the earlier threads if you look back on here. Things are changing now since I've been here. There's a new Chairperson. If you have specific questions, I can better answer them. I don't know anything about the interview process. This is something new they have implemented. I heard that supposedly it is a group interview, that's why the time is so long.

I actually went on the group interview a couple of weeks ago. I was so shocked when I saw the email for group interview because I remember reading past comments about there not being an interview. It was a few of us, Im assuming it was suppose to be more but I guess not a lot confirmed. It was only 3 of us, but the email had 10 recipients, maybe they declined the group interview. They said we will would hear something back  by May 1st the latest, So still waiting.

It was a very relaxed interview, maybe because there was only 3 of us. They asked personal questions about ourselves and work experiences since my group works full time. The chairperson was there as well as other professors and I think their Nursing graduate admissions department was there as well. It was about 1.5 hours long. Not bad at all. Good luck. We are still waiting to hear back.

@pickychic4eva Hope your semester is going well. I have read your past posts where you were hoping to make it in. You made it in, and on top of that, you passed very challenging FNP courses. You are an inspiration. Thank you for sacrificing your precious time to help us.
