Lehman College Fall 2020 Admissions

This thread is for people who plan to apply to the Lehman nursing program of accelerated (Summer 2020) or generic (Fall 2020) Wish you all the best of luck! Let's keep us all motivated!

Oh WOW! LOL. Yes I have submitted unofficial transcripts as well. I actually worked super hard on my essay and I was impressed by it??? so I hope that bumps my response time up

the orientation is scheduled a bit early that last year July 8, I think there are some reasons. They can not do all students once.

when I saw the department, there are no enough people to do things. So it seems like they dividing the works.

even they do not have an extra hand to send out the packages (they got to do later)

Thanks Kil, yeah I’m not losing faith yet, but it’s getting there. Ohhh that would make sense why they’re taking long if they are under staffed.

one of my classmates in A&P in 2013 at Lagcc, She got $60,000 loan debt from private nursing school. She kicked out the last exam in the last semester by 1 point. She had to do it again at the LaGuardia community.

I m also here, no quarantines to graduate and choose here I do not have money, I can not get the loan. all money from my pockets.

hope you succeed there..

Thank you for your advice. Everything I do, I work very hard at, including trying to get into Lehman’s program. I am not stressed about anything academically because I have a great support system and believe I will succeed. I will not be receiving loans and will have to pay out of pocket as well so that is even more motivation for me. Good luck at Lehman!

Right! When it said only 250 word essay I was like, that’s it???

Thx for your insight truly helpful. If it's for me then it will be is my motto. I honestly did the best I could so I'm praying my GPA is an exception. I know 3.0 isn't high for this demanding program but I'm praying my HESI scores to help out, I did pretty well on that. 96 overall CT 970. We shall see. The last day for my CMSV deposit is July 24th, so I'll wait some more I guess to consider all options. Especially cheaper ones. ? o

Hey everyone!

I just spoke to the pre-nursing advisor over zoom, she said they will be reviewing and everyone will definitely have a response over the next two weeks!

There is still hope ? Good luck to you all and I wish you the best in your endeavors!

Hi guys I am new here and super late to the forum. I received my acceptance letter today at 12:57 pm. For those of you who are waiting there is still hope. I don't think they are done with sending out all the acceptance letter yet. Pray that all of you get in!
