When’s the latest we can take the HESI ?

My friend was told if the HESI isn’t taken by the 20th of May, the will not be accepting anymore HESI scores. My friends exam was cancelled multiple times (3-4 times). That’s what the nursing department told them.

to NURSING.DEPARTMENT, me

"Dear Applicant,

Many individuals make things up as they go along to feed the hysteria of this trying time. Please use wisdom when listening to your fellow students/ friends. The College is on lockdown. Why then would you be required to submit your scores physically? Who would be there to collect it? I'll repeat myself to you and those who would listen, email me your HESI scores so that your application would be complete for our review."

Stay safe.

Dr. Dyer

It would've been much nicer, and less passive aggressive of them if anyone from this department has any common decency to inform the applicants regarding applications, so students don't need to ask questions. Nothing posted on dpt site, no feedback, nor even just to inform students regarding not being able to process applications at this time.

"Anyone who would listen," what a negative, rude statement form someone in charge of the program. Gives an insight to what to expect from these people, once/if get accepted.

Good luck to all being patient without getting any updates for months.

I agree. So unprofessional, during hard times. No reassurance at all. There was literally no excuse for the department to not give a heads up for 2 months and counting.?

"Make things up" and "feeding hysteria" just adds to anxiety. Simply nasty and insensitive. Just coming from the top doesn't feel reassuring.

Yeah disappointing really, but unfortunately all we are prompted to do is be patient.

Well, keep in mind you have choices. This one is one of them. Good luck

Hey y’all! I just made this account because I found this thread. I applied for Fall 2020 and turned in all documents before quarantine however I was a part of the group who’s HESI got postponed. I took it yesterday and received a cumulative score of 95.33% with 880 on critical thinking.

My overall GPA is 3.78, I haven’t calculated my science GPA yet. I have an A in everything except a&p1 and organic Chemistry which I took this Spring semester. Not only was the class and instructor difficult, I also gave birth in February so I’ve been dealing with a newborn and my 8 year old distance learning in this pandemic. I worked so hard to get that B but it’s upsetting since I usually get As

The dept emailed me back last night and told me to submit my scores even after Donna told me they would receive them automatically. I submitted them but for some reason Prometric didn’t include the critical thinking score in my report. I have everything banking on this so I am hoping I get in. Donna said we should know by June 1st

To see your critical thinking score click on the “+” sign next to the overall score and there would be like a drop box that will appear with the detailed score for each section. Also did the department reply back saying they received your scores? I sent mine in a while ago but still no reply.

WOW! thank you so much for that. How will I be able to send them that? Don’t judge me but I sent my score about 20 times. The only way they reply to me is when I continue to email them over and over again. They still haven’t replied to tell me they received my scores. I will continue to send them

You are able to download your score as a PDF and then attach it to the email. And no problem!
