Any one accepted with 3.57 (3.6) science GPA? To lehman im finishing up my first degree and want to do the accelerated/generic program for fall 2019.
I got a B in AP2
A in AP1
CHEM114/115 B and B-; I transferred in with these and seeing the science classes at Lehman are much easier
Im aiming for A's in Micro and chem120/121
And to score high on the HESI, im already studying
This summer i completed 4 classes on top of AP2 receiving a A and a 3.9 gpa cumulative i would hope my determination and record will help, im a little nervous about applying next year
THANK YOU
Congrats to all of those who got accepted!
If you have a 4.0 and passed the HESI in ALL sections but haven't received your acceptance letter yet.. do not worry. I had a 4.0 and a really high HESI score and received my letter after some people with 3.7s and 3.8s. The order is very random. I'm not sure how they decide on who gets notified first.
They do send out waitlist and rejection emails (I know one of you asked about that).
Edit: I forgot to mention that someone with a 4.0 didn't receive an acceptance until June was nearly over. If it reaches the last week of June and you haven't received anything, then I would reach out. Right now they're just handing out as many letters as they can in whatever order they please.
Thank you for all the reassurance!
Still very worried/nervous as I didn’t get into the accelerated program (I do have a BS). I took all the prereqs and finished this spring, I have a gpa of 3.8 (3.795 if they don’t round). 87% in the HESI and 830 in CT, didn’t do as well as I wanted. I did stop by last week and dropped off my completed transcript and all they said that I would hear back soon.
This is so nerve wrecking! Good luck everyone!

Thanks for sharing your stat! I have similar stat as yours. Your stat is little bit higher than mine.
Please let us know when you receive the email!
I am kind of nervous that someone got the email today who has 3.7 gpa and lower hesi score than I have. Hope they did not skip me.

Do nursing students at Lehman have class five days a week?
No you have classes 2-3 times a week ( counting a skills lab) and clinical once a week first semster then twice a week second sesmter. If you work make sure you have a super flexible job like per diem or working in afterschool programs. You probabaly wont get your scedule until july or august.

I am so nervous.
I have 3.76 GPA 820 CT, 89% overall hesi score..
This is my second time applying for the nursing program because I got 780 hesi last year.
I got the rejection letter last year on July 2nd, now I am really afraid there is any issue on my application.
You know you could have taken it twice right? once through lehman college and once through the Texas A&M acess code. I took it once through lehman I got 790 and i submitted an then re took it with texas and got 890 and submitted that too

Yes. If I knew it earlier.. I didn't know I can take it twice. I took 2nd hesi through Texas A&M during the summer last year. Then I dropped microbio because I didn't do well on the first and the second exam. I took microbio again this spring. What a waste of time and money!!

Keep your head up, we’re in the running u til they say otherwise.
for those of you who finished prereqs this semester, did you have to go in and give your transcript? I went to update my grade for orgo but was told since I took it at Lehman, it can be accessed online from their end and I don’t have to do anything more but I’m still not sure
