Lehman college 2016 admittance

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

I am applying to Lehman College's nursing program for this upcoming August and was wondering what my chances were. I just took my HESI exam and did pretty terribly on the Critical Thinking section (780). The other portions, I did fairly well. Math (98%), Reading (88%), and Anatomy (88%). My pre-req GPA is a 3.74. My overall GPA is close to a 3.5. I was wondering what my chances were with the 2 year program. One of the faculty told me that the critical thinking score was pretty low, but I should apply anyway. Do I have any shot at getting in? Thanks.

Hi Yonkers7, in my case it was sent to my personal email, Just search yours incase you might have missed it. Goodluck to you

EMAILS ARE COMING IN!!!! I got in yayyyyyy. Finally!!!!!

Yayyyy! Just returned from the department today and my acceptance has been confirmed. Goodluck everyone!!!!!

Congrats embrooklyn and user1234! I'm starting to get really nervous 😖

Congrats guys..I'm over here sweating bullets. :drowning:

Yeah me too, is it alphabetical or just random?

It's probably by GPA and hesi score

Not at all...random (at least it appears random in my opinion). My HESI was a 90 and my GPA is a 3.912.

My friend got into the accelerated program this morning (congrats to her!!) and our HESI and GPA scores were a one point difference (mine being the higher scores). Not sure how these emails are coming out, but we just need to sit tight I guess (I need to listen to my own advice...I'm ready to pull my hair out lol).

Anyone can explain why the decision has been sent out one after another, NOT at the same time to all the applicants?

My other friend told me they do it in batches since accepted applicants need to hand in certain documents...It's possible this could be true. No one wants to get bombarded by 80+ students lol.
