Legacy is on a hiring freeze and they plan 400 job cuts. The system is short $40 million for 2012... Job prospects don't look good for anyone right now....

Sadly I have not heard anything but I have a friend that received call for a second interview back on the 23rd. I hope they still have other calls to make but seriously think we did not make it this time around. Best of luck to those still searching and hope you all have a very Merry and Happy New Year!

Unfortunately, I got the rejection email. Perhaps it is because I don't have my RN license yet, nor due I have a test date. I also did not give them an updated transcript which reflects a GPA of 3.53 instead of 3.43 in my original application. My GPA is not the best, but oh well. I am considering going back to school for my MSN. Anyone else thinking of doing the same?

Just wondering if anyone else is still waiting to hear back from Legacy about their final hiring decisions? The month long wait has taken a lot of patience and now they have decided to delay their hiring timeline for another month... Oh the suspense.

I interviewed for the perioperative division, how about yourself? All of the Legacy budget cuts are making me a tad nervous- hoping they are still able to hire nurses for the positions they interviewed for. I'd love to know if you get any word from them and good luck to you!

The public nature of the budget cuts and the ominous email we received definitely has me concerned, but I continue to hope for the best. I interviewed for the OBC. Hopefully we will hear something soon! Best of luck!
