Legacy Health Residency, Portland, OR

Just wondering if anyone else had applied to Legacy Health (Emmanuel Children's Hospital)? This is in Portland, OR. It closed last Friday and I am wanting to know when people start hearing from them about interviews. Thanks for any info you have!!

Have you had your interview yet? How did it go for you? When are you supposed to hear their decision? This has been a long two week wait! I should hear something early next week. Still hopeful!! Hope your went great!

it went great!! i should hear something by next week. I have another job offer though, so I am not too concerned. The worst part is that I would really like to do BOTH!! having to turn one down is not easy. but then I might not get this one either and the choice will be made for me. :)

re: the nclex, i would think that those who have passed already would be more highly considered in general. they can't commit a position to someone and then have them NOT pass, that would suck for them. but I suppose if they wanted you badly enough, then they would take that risk.

This is the week I am supposed to hear yes or no from Legacy. I hope, either way, to find out soon! If anyone else hears whether or not they got their position please post! I will do the same! So far, I don't even think they have checked my references, which I assume they will...

I really want this position! It seemed like a great facility and team!

I am supposed to hear this week as well. I am pulling out my hair because i need to move if I don't get this. I know one person who had a 2nd interview who found out the next day that they were hired.

I wonder what department she was hired into. I am trying to remember that each department probably is doing there own thing. From what I understand there is only 1 Ped position and 12 people got 2nd interviews. Ok, thanks for responding! I promise to let you know either way!! Saying prayers for both of us!!

she got a spot in Med/Surg. Interviewed and found out the next day that she got the job. I am getting sick of waiting...!!!

if you call, you get a recording that tells you you may be contacted in the next few weeks, and they will be sending out a letter to those not selected the 2nd week of August. every dept is doing this a diff way, it seems that since you had one of the first 2nd interviews, for peds, that they should have called you by now. didn't they tell you when they would make a decision and let you know????? they should have told you that. if they didn;t then yes, i would call and leave a message if you can. good luck!

Called today.:down: No job...the search goes on. I am not sure what my next move will be...a mission trip to Nicaragua, the military or just more apps. Gonna give myself a few days to not think about it and then...who knows? Good luck at Legacy!!
