Hey Everyone!!!

Has anyone applied for Lawson State Community College Fall Nursing Program?

How long does it usually take to find out if you've been accepted?

Y'all I don't know why my comment won't post where I intended for it to post, but I am responding to futurenurse14 (i think that's her name..) - sorry!!! :down:

I found out yesterday. I did not get in. I'm not sure if that's both or just rn. What got me is it says I did not meet the requirements. Which I'm done with all Pre nursing may have scored low on teas but I'm qualified. I believe but hey maybe god knows best. I'm going to apply for bevill spring and Wallace and Lawson but I'm not sure if I just want to go to herzing

Have you talked to someone from the department? I called the Birmingham campus (that's where I turned in application)and got an appointment. And went with a notebook of questions and spoke with someone. And she actually sat down and showed me my application and broke it down for me and explained the whole process to me. So before just giving up, call and talk to someone. You won't get clarity until you ask questions. P.S. about a year ago my friend got that same letter in the mail, only to later get called with a spot opening up. Don't lose faith!

I did call. I was told to email all questions and concern to the email link. I did well all she told me was consider taking teas over that was what brought me down. Then I asked about lpn program she said no one has declined there seat and if someone was it would go to the next available applicant. So I'm pretty much sick. At this point I'm feeling really tired of not progressing. Telling my self next time well I'm not sure if there is a next time. But I got a lot of fight I'm giving it one more try and that's it

Don't give up... The test and trials are what make you stronger. Last year I was accepted into the Herzing program only to find out that I wouldn't get enough loans to pay for the program like a week before classes were to begin, I had to fight back my tears in that office, but it only meant that I had to go a different route to get to where I am trying to go... With that being said if Nursing is really something that you want to do then sit down and come up with a plan, if your Teas score was low, then retake it and try to get higher. If you don't have all of the classes like Human Growth and Development or the Math class or English class then enroll in the Fall and aim for all A's to help that GPA. Take heed to whatever they said prevented you from getting into one of the programs. I'm semi-stressing about how to pay for this since I already have a Bachelors, but see the way that my God is set up, I know that it's going to all work out.

Thanks I decided to go to herzing to do lpn I shall finish in may. Hopefully transfer to Wallace the fall of 15 for mobility

I havent heard anything either. Do you know how long they usually take for acceptance
