LATTC RN Spring & Fall 2019 Acceptance

U.S.A. California

Published

Hi! I applied RN program in September 2017 at LATTC. I keep looking to see if anyone has started a thread for Spring and Fall 2019 and haven't found one. I'm hoping to be in the program by Spring 2019 (finger cross). I'd love to connect with other applicants and keep each other updated on our processes.

So this morning I received an email survey from the program stating that they will be sending program acceptance letters mid March. If you applied end of 2017 and early 2018, check your emails!

Did you check the school email or the email you applied with?

Hi All,

I got a missed called from Angel today regarding my acceptance. I applied September 2017 and got a call of acceptance, today, February 20,2019. I am currently in another nursing program and will be turning my spot down. Hopefully one of you will take my spot.

Cheers

Hi everyone I applied in October 2018 and they told me I was in until Spring 2021! I thought it was a two semester wait and was hoping for Spring 2020 ? But reading through comments most are waiting for only a year. So I’m being optimistic and will keep asking for updates. I know I just got placed on the waitlist put it feels like foreverrr. Lol.

Congrats on getting in a nursing program! Do you mind me asking if it was on another cc nursing program or did you decided to go to a private program ? I know many get tired with the wait and decide to go the private route because I’m considering all the options to get started sooner. ?

Thanks.

Hi Aliceee14,

I'm currently in the program at Cerritos College. I'm currently in my second semester an anticipated to graduate May 2020. I would never pay to go to West Coast University. I cannot fathom that debt for myself. LATTC was definitely my plan B if I didn't get into another program sooner. I figured whether I was in school or working the time would pass anyway - time doesn't stand still!

Good luck!

Yeah, it used to be two semesters but now they say about 3-4 semesters. Not gonna lie, the wait is annoying. The whole time you’re anticipating to start with no solid answer on when so you’re left anxious. I suggest applying to other schools while you wait. You never know! You might get into a school sooner than you think!

Thank you for the response. Yes after finding out how much I would be paying at West Coast I’ll be definitely be waiting to get in a cc program. May 2020 is so close! Congrats and good luck in the program!

Yes. I’ll be applying to other programs even though most are based on lottery. But like you said you never know I might get lucky! Thanks.

I just got a call today about acceptance. I applied in November 2017. I declined my space as I am currently in another nursing program. If you applied in November be ready for a call soon! Good luck to you all!

They sent it to my personal email that I provided them with on my application. I applied in October 2017 and they told me it would be a 3-4 semester wait, not including the semester I applied in. So that placed me right at Fall 2019. It's definitely a long and intense wait, so I would recommend you apply to the other programs: LA County nursing program, Santa Monica, Pasadena, all of the LACCD programs, Glendale, wherever you can apply. And work and save as much as you can. I'm still waiting on my official acceptance letter, hoping to receive that within the next few weeks. Good luck everyone!
