LATTC RN Spring & Fall 2019 Acceptance

Hi! I applied RN program in September 2017 at LATTC. I keep looking to see if anyone has started a thread for Spring and Fall 2019 and haven't found one. I'm hoping to be in the program by Spring 2019 (finger cross). I'd love to connect with other applicants and keep each other updated on our processes.

wow that would actually be amazing and even sooner would be even more amazing im just so excited to begin that even a potentially soon start date is even more exciting. We might begin at the same time. Its the only thing i can think about anymore Lol just so excited. We might even get lucky and get selected as alternates to begin even sooner :]

I applied to the program in October 2017 and was told that there is a 3-4 semester wait. I've been calling since Spring 2018 and the last few times I've called within the past few months, I was told that I will be starting in Fall 2019! I know it's a long wait, but the lottery system with the other schools is a complete joke. If you can work somewhere else in the mean time while you wait, the time will pass slowly, but it will give you a chance to prepare for your program financially when you do start.

Hopefully they notify you soon!!! Maybe next month they'll contact you cus I believe they are constantly admitting students. Keep us updated! :) Let us know when you get notified and when you will be starting!

I saw that the NCLEX pass rates for LA Trade Tech went from 95% to 81%. It's a bit alarming seeing that the pass rates went down dramatically knowing that ill be starting the program for Fall 2019

I think you also have to take into consideration that this school takes basically anyone who meets their minimum requirements. Not saying that anyone is a bad student, but those students who maybe aren't the best of the best are going to this school. They have a bigger dynamic of students with different learning capabilities.

Nope, still patiently waiting. I’ve called the school a few times and they’ve said they will mail acceptance letters out in early March. The anticipation is killing me ? have you heard anything?

I just stopped by the nursing office to find out my approximate date and was told to come back in spring 2020. i applied in feb 22 2018. seems like longer than a year :( anybody have other news? i hope i become an alternate..

So this morning I received an email survey from the program stating that they will be sending program acceptance letters mid March. If you applied end of 2017 and early 2018, check your emails!
