LATTC RN Spring & Fall 2019 Acceptance

Hi! I applied RN program in September 2017 at LATTC. I keep looking to see if anyone has started a thread for Spring and Fall 2019 and haven't found one. I'm hoping to be in the program by Spring 2019 (finger cross). I'd love to connect with other applicants and keep each other updated on our processes.

I applied beginning of Jan 2018 and I'm waiting. Hoping to get in Fall '19, but I'm not sure how long I'm going to have to wait. When I email them they just reply with "the wait is 2-3 semesters long. You have waited only 1." So does that mean I might make it in at a later time? This is literally making me so anxious

I have been waiting since November 2017. And each time i called I was told maybe spring maybe fall then the last time i spoke with them i was told spring 2020. I got tired of waiting so i am attending another nursing school currently. The semester you applied does not count. so you might be in for fall depending on how many people reject their acceptances. But more than likely spring 2020.

What school did you get into? And also when did you contact them? I'm planning on going to campus tomorrow to check out the waiting list. Hopefully they'll give me a more accurate estimate of how long I'll have to wait.

I am currently attending west coast. It was expensive but i honestly wish i would have started sooner. i contacted them in September. You could try that I know some one on here mentioned they were able to see the list. Good luck to you!

Hi everyone i also applied in February 2018 so i have only been waiting 1 semester and i was wondering if anyone else applied that time? Congrats to everyone who is starting soon does anybody know what theyve waited approximately? I am so excited and in the meantime ive been working as a Monitor Tech to get me a head start in the field.

I applied Jan 2018 and they said I will most likely get in spring 2020 :( earliest would be fall 2019. It's a really long wait and I'm sure it has gotten longer than it was a year ago. If I have to wait until 2020 to start, I might as well go to private school...

i'm sorry. I know how discouraging the waiting can be. Especially when they keep giving you different answers. For me it was spring 2019, fall 2019 then spring 2020. You could apply to lotteries while you wait. Maybe you might get into to another school before spring 2020. Private school is an option. West coast is a good school but the terms move very fast and its a lot of work.

The wait was not really a problem for me because i was not planning to sit around until i start i highly encourage whoever is waiting to temporarily start working in a hospital or something to start gaining experience because you learn ALOT just by being there. Im confident i will be admitted within the time frame they gave me which is 1- 2 semesters. Stay positive and start learning now to get a head start when you begin the program. I am very excited to begin hopefully soon. I was considering applying elsewhere but whats the point if you already got accepted to LATTC just have some patience and let God sort it all out.

I just emailed them and they told me that currently they are admitting students who applied aug-sept 2017. That means it was a year and a few month's wait for those applicants. We might have to wait the same amount of time. So I'm looking to hopefully receive an acceptance letter by Feb/March of next year, meaning I might start fall 2019. Fingers crossed. I'm ok with that.

wow that would actually be amazing and even sooner would be even more amazing im just so excited to begin that even a potentially soon start date is even more exciting. We might begin at the same time. Its the only thing i can think about anymore Lol just so excited. We might even get lucky and get selected as alternates to begin even sooner :]
