LATTC Fall 2017

Hello Everyone. I wanted to start a thread for LATTC fall 2017 cohort. I will be starting the nursing program here in august 2017. But I guess we really start in the summer 2017 for RN 119 intro to nursing course. Anybody else starting in Fall 2017, please let me know :)

FYI: I applied to over 25 different nursing schools throughout California. I was on the alternate list for Goldenwest, Pasadena and on the waitlist for LATTC. I applied to LATTC in April/May 2016 and got informed that i will be in the fall 2017 class. Getting into a nursing school in California is extremely difficult because of their point system process. Thank goodness LATTC doesn't do a point system. :) :)

@jessiebrown since August 2016 wow. Why they keep on saying that the waiting list is 1 or 2 semesters when we all waiting 2 to 3 semesters!

Mimili20! It is not fair but I have no guts to go to the office and complain about that ^.^. I avoid to go out or see friends and relatives because they will ask me about school. Noone could understand how hard we try to get into the nursing program. May be we are not lucky like others. Keep praying!!!

Wow I am so happy for you! I am Spring 2017 cohort! And Likewise we started with pharmacology in Winter of 2017

I would recommend you to BUY the med surg, fundamentals, and drug guide books. All of the others you can rent (also dont purchase the dictionaries or the study guide I did and never used them) i tell you to buy those book because you will also use them for 2 nd semester as well..

Hello-I'm planning on applying- what hospitals does LATTC do their clinicals at?

Hello- may you let me know where clinicals are taken (what hospitals)? What are the days of week and hours for both clinicals and theory?

Hi Misbanana,

How is the program going at LATTC. I am also planning to apply to the program and I was thinking about applying to five other ones as well. Can you tell me what your GPA in the science was and overall and teas percentage before you applied to those 25 colleges please? I am trying to see what my chances are. I have two B's and a C in my sciences bringing it down to a 2.63 and my overall is 2.75. I have not taken the teas yet. Thank you for the information!

If any one applied around December 2016 they are calling you to start spring í ½í¸Ší ½í¸Ší ½í¸ŠI got a call yesterday and no message was left so if u get a call that you don't recognize just call it back! I got into another school this fall instead so I will be declining my spot but I thought I would give you all an update í ½í¸Š
