LATTC Fall 2017

Hello Everyone. I wanted to start a thread for LATTC fall 2017 cohort. I will be starting the nursing program here in august 2017. But I guess we really start in the summer 2017 for RN 119 intro to nursing course. Anybody else starting in Fall 2017, please let me know :)

FYI: I applied to over 25 different nursing schools throughout California. I was on the alternate list for Goldenwest, Pasadena and on the waitlist for LATTC. I applied to LATTC in April/May 2016 and got informed that i will be in the fall 2017 class. Getting into a nursing school in California is extremely difficult because of their point system process. Thank goodness LATTC doesn't do a point system. :) :)

When are the fire safety/cpr courses? Supposedly when we paid our fees we were Registered but when are they? Andres out!

They usually do it at the beginning of that intro to nursing theory class.

I am having trouble logging in this website... frustrated.

Finally, I went to the office and checked my status. I will be in Spring 2018 :-( and she said that I will received the letter around August.

Hello all, this is a school that I found by doing some research online and I am so excited that they are strictly waitlist....I finished the whole application/teas submission Dec 2016 so when I checked the status I was told spring or fall 2018 semester depending on those ahead of me on the list. So in the mean time I am applying to any and every school that I feel I have a chance at...The wait is the hardest, I was hoping that it was possible for me to get in this coming semester (fall) but I am okay with knowing for sure there is a future spot for me at LATTC:)

Hello everyone,

I'm interested in the nursing program at LATTC and i'm close to completing prereqs, most likely by mid October 2017 which is when I plan on submitting my complete application to be waitlisted.. If I hope to start in the fall of 2018, will October 2017 be too late to submit application? From what I've read on threads, LATTC usually has about a 1-2 semester wait? What have previously accepted LATTC students experienced?

Gwendyy93 Since you wont actually be applying till October you would probably be getting in fall 2018 or spring 2019 just depending on how many people accept on the list before you...I only say this because I applied back in December of 2016 and I just called to inquire about my status the end of Feb and I was told looking at the list I could start spring 2018 or fall 2018 off course I am hopping for spring because fall just seems so far away:(

Yes, please share! I asked the office when they are planning on sending the acceptance letters but they are not responding! I think we should start a new thread for winter 2018!

I completed everything and have been on the waiting list since August 2016. Last March, I was told by Department Secretary that wait till August and they will send the acceptance letters.

Cross fingers for those letters!!
