LATTC FALL 2020/Spring 2021

Hello! I am starting this topic so we, who applied to LATTC, can keep each other informed. I have applied July 2 2018, and so far I have not started the program. When I went to go check where I was at on the waitlist, it looks like they only got to those who applied April/May 2018 for the cohort Fall 2020. That being said I believe I will be starting Spring 2021. Please comment any information you may have or when you applied ?

Where else should I apply that has a waitlist and no recency?

Don't know of other nursing programs that do a waitlist.

So I got a message from ------------------- ... and she said my pre reqs are met, to wait for application from -------------------.. But I haven’t gotten an application from ------------------ yet. I emailed her she said she hasn’t gotten the paperwork from counseling office yet and that was a week ago. Any ideas of what’s gonna happen next?

When you finally complete the application your name will go on a waiting list and you would have to wait 4 semesters not counting this one

So I got the application, I will fill out and pray! It said 2-3 years for waitlist ? what’s the average you guys have waited?

My name went on waiting list I believe June of 2019. So I have about a year on the waiting list. Hoping I can go into program by Spring of next year but based on what she wrote and I posted previously on this thread I do not know if Spring 2020 will be the term I’ll go into program.
Best of luck. I have thought so many times to just throw this waiting list away and just focus on another degree as someone else mentioned here but I think and tell myself if I waited already this long, why not wait a bit longer since it will be worth it at the end. Don’t get discouraged because of the wait. I used this time of waiting list to complete courses that I know I will need for transferring out that way when I am in nursing program I can fully dedicate myself to the program instead of dividing my focus on general classes for transfer. I wish you best of luck to everyone and the wait will be over in no time. Time flies. ?
If anyone has updates for those that applied around June/July of 2019 please keep me posted if theres any updates to those being called for those dates. Appreciate it.

I filled out the yellow paper around June or July of 2018 and when I went to check July of 2019 I was still on either the second page or possibly third. I’m so anxious! Does anyone know how if they try to reach us via email, phone, or mail?

@fatcatnaps I guess it’ll be via email or phone. They’ll be reaching to your cohort anytime around September to November I guess.

My friend applied July of 2018 as well and they promised him he’ll be accepted in Spring 2021.

Hello All,

Does anyone Have update with all this COVID 19? I applied in Fall I think October 2018. And CONGRATS to everyone who gotten acceptance letter! I’m getting older and my family don’t understand the struggle to find a school with a waiting list I’m thinking of just Going to A private paying school ?

Hello, I scheduled 3 meetings with Angel to see where I was on the waiting list as after the fall it will be my 3rd full semester waiting and just wanted to see if I was a prospect for starting Spring 2021. The first meeting she flat cancelled, and the other two she just never showed up for. I have also sent her 3 emails she has never replied to. I am at a loss and feel helpless and hopeless.
