Hello! I am starting this topic so we, who applied to LATTC, can keep each other informed. I have applied July 2 2018, and so far I have not started the program. When I went to go check where I was at on the waitlist, it looks like they only got to those who applied April/May 2018 for the cohort Fall 2020. That being said I believe I will be starting Spring 2021. Please comment any information you may have or when you applied ?

I emailed to get an update of where I’m at on the list. I included my id # but the response I got was when did I apply? ?. I emailed back and no response yet.
I also just realized that I applied August 2019! Not 2018 as I previously thought ?‍♀️

Hello I also emailed ------------------- a couple days ago. She actually replied today.
“I apologize for not responding sooner. I am working from home and have been having some technical difficulties. This past January we pulled 50 names from the waiting of students who applied in March through June of 2018. I will be pulling more names for the Spring 2021 cohort in October.”

WOW!! your so lucky she even replied. I emailed her a couple weeks ago and nothing still till this day. At least we know where we kinda stand on the waitlist based on when they last pulled apps from. Thank you for the update

Oh no are you 100% sure it was 2019? I know it might seem like I’m questioning but this just blows for you if it is August 2019.

It just me but not you guys get frustrated when your friends/family as you why you never finish? If they only knew how hard is to get in... so now I just tell them dropout school...

LOL same with my family. It is so hard to get in a nursing program here in LA. I applied October 2018 and hopefully I can get in Spring 2021 because honestly it has been such a long wait.

I am not getting any younger! So now I’m on the fence about nursing school. Thinking of changing my major completely and going to a university in the fall.

Same. I have thought about changing majors so many times but I always go back to wanting to be a nurse. Oh well, I’ll wait one more semester.

Sadly, I haven't heard anything yet. Everything seems to be in a standstill right now, hopefully by August, we'll get more info.

if anyone has more info, please let us know how far along they are with the Fall 2020 cohorts, and are they going to have an in-class or online lecture.

Also, when does the Spring semester starts for nursing? I heard it starts in Winter (is it first or 2nd week in January) cos I'm not sure.

I wonder if this current situation will affect anyone still trying to take the TEAS. Would that then affect the waiting list? So many questions.

I don’t think the current situation will affect us in terms of making our wait shorter. Since the school can conduct workshops and TEAS testing the waitlist will most likely become shorter for future applicants at least for awhile.
