For LAVC, do we need to go to counseling or to the health science building to pick up the application? When I went to get my pre-reqs cleared at the counseling annex, they had a little sign saying that the application period opened on April 8 and to return to get the application, but the website seems to indicate that we need to bring our signed pre-req form to the Health Sciences building to get the app.
Has anyone been through their application process before and do you have any tips? Thanks!

I was told that we pick up the application in their office because we need to submit the transcript evaluation form. I'm not too sure what else we're supposed to submit but if it's anything like the other colleges that I've applied then we need to submit our official HS transcript or HS Diploma (unless you already have a AA or a BA/BS degree) and official college transcript. I'm also going to make a photocopy of these items just in case so I can just turn in the application on Monday: SSN, Driver's License, LACCD school I.D, and 1st TEAS score.
So I went to LAVC today to get the application and turns out we ONLY need to bring the transcript evaluation form and a form of ID (either driver's license or a LACCD school ID). The application itself is only one page long so it doesn't ask for a lot of information and I was able to turn it in today. You will also need to write your SSN on the application.

Thank you! I turned in my application today and they kept asking if I sent them in and I was confused because I wouldn’t have had the signed pre-req clearance form if I didn’t already send them in.
