LASW, LACC, LAHC, LA pierce - Fall 2019

Hello everyone, I am applying to 4 different programs in Fall 2019. Does anyone here in the same boat with me? Lets get to know each other and share your experience. Good luck to all of you.

I called Valley last Thursday and they said that they would contact us during June or July for our TEAS score so I guess they're still looking at all of the applications.

so guys I called pierce and they said that they contacted those on the waiting list and those who got accepted already as we all know already. So if you didn’t get one it you didn’t make and they won’t be sending any denials emails.

However congrats to everyone who got accepted at least somewhere. Me I did not get into any of the schools that I applied to which was 7 schools. Now I have to really wonder about what to do with my life.

I'm sorry to hear that, @Leslylove. If this is what you truly want to do, keep applying to the lottery schools or join the waitlist for LATTC. If you're making the cut for the TEAS and your score meets the minimum required, you will eventually hit something. Don't give up if you are sure this is the right path for you.

I have 3 friends applying this semester to the same schools as me. One of them has been chosen to 6/7 programs (yup she’s lucky) and another 1/7 (like me) and my other friend to non (sadly). I’ve read on various threads, that some students have applied to the programs more then one semester and they eventually do get into a program. My advice is to not give up if this is your passion you should keep trying. I know it’s easy for me to say, but don’t loose hope keep trying. Good luck for next semester it might be your time.

i only applies to valley and just received a call today. However I sent my TEAS score in before they asked for it.

Hi. I just received a call this morning at 9am that I was accepted into the program at valley. They asked me to go pick up my nursing package on Monday. I submitted my TEAS test when I submitted my application.

Congrats! Do you know if we should send TEAS now or wait till they ask for it?

Thank you! I was trying to be proactive about it and decided to send my TEAS score in before they asked. I sent them in the same day I went in to fill out my application.

Valley also called me this morning and asked for my TEAS results and said we will go from there. They didn't specify if I was accepted into the program or not.

Are they asking everyone to send their TEAS results or those who are accepted? Did anyone else get a call to have their results sent to the school?
