Last Semester- Scared of failing

Nursing Students General Students

I have sooooo much anxiety right now. I'm going into my last semester of ADN in three weeks and my worst fear is failing.

All the time I hear stories of people failing a days before graduation, it is a very scary thought.

I'm a "B" student so I can go either way at this point. I just pray that I get through my last two classes.

I need a strong study plan and really need to focus. Failing would be a nightmare as it is a nightmare for anyone that has gone through it.

I have tried to mentally prepare myself for the worst, thinking if I do fail it is not the end of the world. I just need to hold on to that.

Anyone else have anxiety about the last semester?

Yes, although I'm not sure if I am more afraid of failing my last classes, the NCLEX, not being able to find a job or just the general fear of the unknown. It's hard to tell at this point, it's all just blending together. LOL

I know ! I think we will be fine though...

I start back for my last semester on the 22nd aswell. And managed to get a teacher who I think hates the sight of me..lol! BUT...I have managed to get through all this other mess with a B avg so I'm going to succeed no matter what!

I think that we will all be ok...especially since I've read all these posts about everyone feeling the same way. I was worried I was the only anxious wanna-b-nurse!

I KNOW we'll be fine! And in a few short weeks, we will gather back here and announce that we are done!
