I took the NCLEX exam today. My test shut off at 175 and I know I got the last the answer wrong. Then I got to my car and got the bad pop up too. So I guess that means I failed right? I am so devastated... has anyone ever had that happen to them and still come out passing the exam? I think it's just wishful thinking on my part. I am so sad right now!!!

Sorry. . Did the status say "delivery successful" before you checked?
yes it did. I have a bad feeling I failed. I am not one to believe in false hope...so I already applied and registered again to take the test. I am planning to take a leave of absence from work to prepare for this test. I guess I am not one of those people that can take a CAT test successfully. I know what I must do. But what hurts the most is knowing I know the nursing content and not being able to utilize it correctly on the NCLEX exam. I know I am not incompetent. I know I am going to be a great nurse. I am just hurt that the NCLEX people think otherwise. I have went through the Hurst Review and am planning to purchase the NCSBN Review (3 week course) to see if that helps. I will purchase the Kaplan Review as well if I need to (please advise). I plan to put my life on hold until I pass this exam. I am so frustrated. I just don't know what happened. I graduated in the top 5 of my class and can NOT my NCLEX exam!!! I am so heart broken. What happened???

When you get your performance report in the mail, take a good look at it. This will tell you why you failed...what you need to focus on in order to pass. Once you know that, you can better prepare to study. The review program doesn't mean terribly much, except that if you're weak in a certain area and a review program has that as its strength, you're on to something.
As for the last question determining your passing or failing, that is incorrect. it's a statistic that is used, based on your performance throughout the exam....getting the last question right or wrong means nothing except that was the end of the determination, NOT the determining factor.

I'm so sorry! HUGS! Just use that report to regroup your studying. Give yourself a little break (a few days) to relax and do whatever to feel good (massage, friends, a cold beer ) You will knock it out the next time! Chin up! You have our support!
Thank you for the support and motivation. I truly needed it. I will take the test again as soon as possible. I want that RN title!! I will not give up, I can't give up. I have come too far to turn back.
