last question determines PASS or FAIL?

Published

hi everyone..i had my nclex-rn yesterday..and gosh my computer stopped at 222...:crying2:.and i felt so dumb while taking the exam..never expected that nclex would be that awfully hard..i want to know if is't true that the last question where the computer stopped is a predictor whether you pass or fail? like if you feel your answer was wrong, you probably fail and if you feel you answered it correctly,,it's a chance that you pass because the comptuer had already determined you're in the passing level??? please i need feedbacks..as what i remember,i asnwered my last question correctly but i don't wanna rely on,,but for the sake of encouragement and uplifting my spirit..that's what im thinking of..im so paranoid huhu this is a 1 month agony..my bon is cali and they don't have quick result..god only knows..:)

Total myth. Don't forget that you will get some test questions and who know which ones they are and it could have been the last one. Hang in there and try to distract yourself whilst waiting for the results. Good luck

I can say it is a myth. I know for certain that my last question was wrong because I looked it up. I passed though. Hang in there and good luck.:loveya:

I also think it's a myth. In what I experienced, my last question caused me nose bleeding. For me, it's a very hard prioritization question and I think I got it wrong. Still I passed my nclex-rn. Just think positive. Hope for the best. Good luck!

i am pretty sure i answered my last question wrong.

but i passed.

during the long waiting for the result, i relied solely on divine intervention because i thought there's no way i'll ever pass this test. :)

There are so many myths with the Nclex. You just have to wait for the results. I KNOW I got my last question wrong and still passed on the first try. Like Silver stated, it could have been one of the questions thrown out or something. You just don't know with this exam.
