Hi, I'm a student working on a care plan and I was wondering if anyone could help me with what would be included in a pre-operative assessment for laproscopic cholecystectomy

Look up the pathophysiology of cholecystitis, and that should give you some idea for some physical diagnoses. There are also some possible general findings for any pre-operative patient. Think along the lines of anxiety or knowledge deficit.

What semester are you? Is this on a real patient? Care plans are all aobut the patient assessment....what the patient needs. Is this just a general pre-op assessment of any patient having a Laproscopic Chole?
