  1. Hi there! I have moved from Ontario, Canada to Maryland, USA and am starting the process of getting licensed here. I renewed my nursing license to the status of "non-practicing" with the CNO (College of Nurses of Ontario) for this year (it was $50 for non-practicing in comparison to $400 for the practicing license) since I was moving to the USA and therefore had no intention of working in Ontario. As per the application I filled out to renew my license, I am still a registered nurse and legally able to call myself that but am no longer entitled to practice in Ontario. My question is whether or not that counts as an "active license", which is one of the requirements to get a nursing license in Maryland? I have requested my transcript to be sent to Maryland Board of Nursing. I have requested the CNO verification of registration be sent to the Maryland Board of Nursing. I will be getting my fingerprints and submitting my application as soon as those are both sent. I am just unsure if the status of "non-practicing" will have any effect on the verification process. If anyone has been in this situation before it would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!
  2. Hi, I'm a student working on a care plan and I was wondering if anyone could help me with what would be included in a pre-operative assessment for laproscopic cholecystectomy
