Hey guys!

I just finished this semester and got my grades finalized. I'm applying for the Spring intake with a 4.06 (though I have no previous degree) ?

Oh wow, that is a good one. I am even scared applying for the Spring term

Hey guys

Applying with a 3.93! Hope we hear back early this intake...

Hey guys!

I was also wondering what everyones plans are for the time being while waiting to start nursing school! Are you guys taking any extra classes or planning to volunteer/get work experience anywhere?

Hi,

I’ve just started considering applying for langara nursing. To determine their choice of applicants, does langara only look at the GPA of the 5 required courses they’ve listed?

Hi, yes just those courses. Nothing else

Hey Everyone,

My names Ash! Applying for Spring as I didn’t get into the Fall 2021 intake. I had a 3.4 GPA and wasn’t Waitlisted. I redid one English and my GPA is now a 3.6 so hoping to get in as the Spring intake is less competitive. I did all my pre reqs at langara and got:

BIOL 1190 - A-

BIOL 1191 - A-

ENGL 1123 - A

ENGL 1129 - B-

STATS 1124 - A

Hope this info helps anyone else. It’s a very stressful process but staying positive and hopefully 3.6 is good enough. Or I will re do my other English in September ?

Hello, from what I read you should be fine with that GPA!

Apparently Spring intakes are not as competitive as the fall intakes from what I’ve heard! Fingers crossed that we all get in ??
