Did you retake any courses?
That's a really good GPA!! I hope you get in! And yess!! I retook STATS! Wbu? Also, I heard in one of the threads that they won't be prioritizing degree holders anymore so I wonder if some applicants will have a higher chance getting in

I hope you'll get in too!! I didn't retake any courses. What GPA are you applying with or hope to expect at the end of the semester??
And yeah, they don't prioritize them anymore but more chances of us getting in, I guess! Haha

I'm hoping to get atleast a 3.8 GPA, fingers crossed haha but there's still more of the semester left so hopefully all goes well. I heard for advanced entry BSN Langara only takes upto 8 students so that's really stressful ? I wonder if there will be any upcoming info sessions
Hi everyone ?
I'd like to apply to Langara (don't know exactly which semester yet) but I need some help understanding the admission requirements. I am currently attending SFU. I used the BC Transfer Guide and noticed that for a lot of the required courses, there aren't any equivalent courses at SFU (e.g. There is no course I can take at SFU to fulfill the BIOL 1191 requirement).
How can I apply to Langara if this is the case? I'm very lost right now and would appreciate any help! ?

Hey there,
I'm pretty sure BIOL 1190 & 1191 equivalent to SFU is either BPK 105 & 325 or BPK 205 & 326.
But I recommend double checking with Langara for that one!
English 1123 equivalent is ENGL 199

Hello @Jollibee,
Thank you so much for the quick reply! That is such a relief to hear because I have taken all of those courses at SFU! May I ask where you have gotten this information? I do not see anything on Langara's site - it only tells me to use the BC Transfer Guide.

No problem. I checked the BCIT nursing requirements and what they have seems to match Langara's prerequisites also.
