Langara Spring 2022
Hey sammi, At least you got waitlisted! There’s still a chance. Don’t lose hope! You’ll get that phone call!! ? I don’t think you can see what place you are currently at for the waitlist. If it doesn’t work out, try retaking the courses again at another institution. You got this! And January intakes tend to not be that competitive so you definitely have a chance! What GPA do you have?

Nursing
Hey Dorothy, I think you'd still have to meet the Chemistry prerequisites for the Nursing programs, regardless of your degree. I think your BA in Psychology will give you bonus points for most nursing programs that favour people who have their degrees, however, you'd still need to take courses that meet their prerequisites. I suggest contacting post-secondary schools you wish to attend and ask them what college courses you could take that is equivalent to Chemistry 11/12. (Make sure they are transferrable)

Hey leco, I just checked the fall 2021 intake thread and apparently those BPK courses are not transferrable ?

Langara Spring 2022
No problem. I checked the BCIT nursing requirements and what they have seems to match Langara's prerequisites also.

Langara Spring 2022
Hey there, I'm pretty sure BIOL 1190 & 1191 equivalent to SFU is either BPK 105 & 325 or BPK 205 & 326. But I recommend double checking with Langara for that one! English 1123 equivalent is ENGL 199

I hope you'll get in too!! I didn't retake any courses. What GPA are you applying with or hope to expect at the end of the semester?? And yeah, they don't prioritize them anymore but more chances of us getting in, I guess! Haha
