Just wondering if anyone else applied to the Langara Nursing program for the Fall 2022 intake? If so what GPA did you apply with? I'm super demotivated and don't have much hope of getting in since I've heard the fall intake is much more competitive. Let's all help each other out! ?

Thanks!

Congrats on getting accepted to both schools!

May I ask whether you applied to the BCIT Spring cohort, or fall? I also applied to BCIT but not sure when I will hear back from them!

Just a reminder to everyone who got the acceptance notice: the email asks that we confirm our acceptance within 2 weeks ?

I applied to the Spring intake and got placed into the top 10 waitlist which means, if I don’t get a spot before April 11 - I’m automatically placed into the September 2022 class!

Hey everyone! does anyone know approximately how many people get off the waitlist? I’ve seen the fall 2021 intake and a lot of people got off the waitlist. I’m just hoping it will be the same for this intake as well

Ah I see! That's wonderful, congrats again!

May I know around when did you hear that you got on the waitlist for the April cohort? I applied to the September cohort and am anxious to know when I can expect to hear back....

What did you think of the Snapshot interview that you did? Out of all the BC schools I applied to, only BCIT asked for it.

I heard that I was in the top 10 waitlist on February 15th, the last day. For September, the last day you will hear is June 15th.

I hated the snapshot because I was so anxious and forgot what to say. But, honestly just speak from the heart and why you want to become a nurse and you will do just fine!

Thanks for the info! Good luck with nursing school ?

Hi guys, I’ve been waitlisted with a 3.67 GPA with 2 retakes. Hoping to get off of it before the term starts!

hey!! I also got accepted into the program. I think the avg must be high this intake because I know a couple people who have gotten in before with a 3.6

Got accepted with a 3.868 GPA ? Looking forward to meeting you all in the fall!

Anyone got off the waitlist?

Nope. Haven’t heard anything yet. Does anyone know how many people usually get off the waitlist from previous intakes?

It all depends if someone declines their admission offer. You would be replacing someone else’s spot that they got offered. Sometimes there is nobody that gets off the waitlist.

I also got accepted with a GPA of 3.72! Looking forward to meeting everyone in the fall ?
