Langara Nursing Fall 2022

Just wondering if anyone else applied to the Langara Nursing program for the Fall 2022 intake? If so what GPA did you apply with? I'm super demotivated and don't have much hope of getting in since I've heard the fall intake is much more competitive. Let's all help each other out! ?

I applied for the program too. I applied with a GPA of 3.86 but got waitlisted for the Spring 2023 semester

Hi, is this for the advanced entry? Wow, it’s really competitive for the advanced entry then. I had 3.67. I would have thought with your GPA, you’ll get in immediately.

yeah it was for the advanced entry. I heard 8 spots are only available so its pretty competitive...

Hello Guys. Did you guys take your fit-testing certification  at St. John hospital? I can’t seem to find it. Any instructions would be appreciated

I got mine completed at Vancouver First Aid on Kingsway. Only took about 30 minutes and they have multiple dates and locations available through August

Hey Everyone, 

My name is Ash. I'm a BSN student at Langara, and one of your Langara delegates for the CNSA, and a part of the nursing SNAP Group! I recommend you all put together a facebook group and post a link in this forum so you can all get aquatinted; from then on, you will truly become a family, and everything is a group effort to help one another! I will join your cohort's facebook group as well as some other students from other terms as part of multiple nursing student groups. SNAP will be holding a workshop for you all this fall when you join us on campus for an introduction to nursing and things you need to know. So someone takes charge and makes that facebook group ? Congratulations again on your acceptance!

I am not too sure if people received their ebooks yet for term 1 but I found a link containing all the pdf versions of textbooks required for terms 1-6!
