Langara Fall 2021 intake

World Canada CA Programs

I just applied for the fall 2021 intake and I'm wondering if anyone else applied! ?

I think you add the equivalent to your letter grade and divide it by 5.

There’s one grade missing on your requirement I think you forgot to write it down? I was gonna try to calculate for you.

@IsabellaPereira I don't think she's missing a requirement, the biol 153 that she took is equivalent to the 2 Langara joint biology courses required (biol 1190 and 1191). I'm not sure about the credits though, because Biol 153 that @alisondoowradec took is equivalent to 2 courses so it might be worth more credits than the usual 3 credit Langara prerequisites. That might be something you want to consider when calculating.

Oh I see!! I didn’t know that, my bad ? yeah, I’m not sure how to calculate it then. Maybe call admission advisor department? They were super helpful when I was trying to calculate mine.

Thanks a lot for trying guys @BabyButterfly @IsabellaPereira I contacted Langara but they said they're unable to do that. I will try again or shoot an email. So stressful!

Update! was able to finally reach someone who could give me an answer. I applied with a 3.73 GPA without a degree! good luck everyone!

@alisondoowradec No worries! I'm glad you figured it out, 3.73 is an amazing GPA, really hope you get in!!

Hello everyone, anybody finished all the prerequisites in Langara? My situation is: I applied in October while I was still doing my last English in Langara, and completed that course in December. I emailed them immediately after I got my grade in mid-December, and they replied that they would note that and I don't need to do anything more because they have access to all my grades internally. But now, my application is shown as "Requirements in Progress." All my other grades are shown as "received," but it seems Langara hasn't checked my last course's GPA yet.

Anybody in a similar situation to me? I hesitate should I email Langara and ask again. I don't want to appear so impatient, although I think about it everyday LOL.

Mine says the same, don’t worry it will update. They pull the grades themselves.

Thank you for giving me some assurance ?

are there are any students applying outside of Langara that still see "pending review" as their application status after sending a transcript? I'm so paranoid haha

I had some previous courses from Langara and did the rest from Douglas and sent in  the transcript in December, they evaluated my profile before the transcript was submitted and they emailed me I am rejected ? but then I emailed them and they said I don't have to worry once they receive the transcript they'll re-evaluate and change the status in 10 business days but may take longer
