Langara Fall 2021 intake

Published

I just applied for the fall 2021 intake and I'm wondering if anyone else applied! ?

Hello! Congrats!! Applications are totally stressful.
I was planning to apply but I saw that you have to take two bio classes at langara as an international student I guess I won’t be applying XD LOL wishing for UBC or BCIT. Good luck!!

Thanks and good luck to you too!!

Hey! I applied a week ago and I'm planning on sending my transcript over in a few weeks! Super curious what the competitive GPA will be for this intake as it seems it's been getting more competitive each year as well as the new changes regarding degree holders.

Hi! I applied on October 1st but still have my final exam on statistics in 3 weeks to have all my requirements completed. ??

do you guys know what’s the change with the degree holders that people are talking about?

also, anyone joining the online info session on 22nd? ?

Hey! Apparently they aren't prioritizing degree holders anymore, so this should free up a couple of spots.

Hi guys!!
I’ll be applying after I complete Bio 1191. What GPA will you guys be applying with? Also, how do you guys know that the upcoming intake will not prioritize degree holders?

thanks :)

Just jumping in here - I didn’t think Langara nor BCIT accepted international students? @Uwugreenghost?

I saw that someone in another thread posted about the upcoming changes https://allnurses.com/potential-langara-nursing-admission-changes-t723645/?tab=comments#comment-7670996 . Also, I'll be applying with a 3.86 GPA

I wonder if this is true for this intake as the advisor said that it may be possible. That is a really good GPA— hopefully we both get in ? Is it your first time applying?

Yea, if it's true, then they haven't updated the program website yet. And yes, it's my first time applying ?

I don’t know about the degree holders preference rumor. I asked about it a few times at the info session yesterday and they didn’t give a clear answer so I wouldn’t count on it for this intake.

I asked about the competitive GPA for Fall 2020 and they said 3.7 ? bit higher than the Spring one.
