  1. I did not retake any courses
  2. Just got off the waitlist with a 3.67!!
  3. Congratulations! Did they call you or email you and at what time? I was also wondering if they mentioned having more spots? Also do you also have a degree?
  4. I think we can apply right now but I'm probably going to email the advisor next week and ask if it'll affect our waitlist chances. I don't think it will affect our chances but I'll let you know when I get a reply back. I'm hoping those with 3.73 get in this intake therefore we'll probably be first in line when they start contacting the waitlisted applicants.
  5. I'm going to be applying for the January intake with my 3.67. I'm praying that's enough for that intake because it's usually less competitive compared to the September intake apparently.
  6. Just got waitlisted with a 3.67 as well
  7. I'll be applying with a 3.67. Not too sure about my chances since they said the competitive GPA last year was 3.7. I was at the info session yesterday and they seemed to keep dodging the question about degree holder prioritization, however, they did mention that how they evaluate those with degrees this year is different than last year.
  8. Hey! Apparently they aren't prioritizing degree holders anymore, so this should free up a couple of spots.
  9. Hey! I applied a week ago and I'm planning on sending my transcript over in a few weeks! Super curious what the competitive GPA will be for this intake as it seems it's been getting more competitive each year as well as the new changes regarding degree holders.
  10. I asked the same question you asked. A different advisor gave the same answer as Ben.
  11. That's unfortunate. I will definitely email advising to double-check. I wonder how this will change the GPA cutoff in the coming years or if they will add more pre-req courses for admission.
  12. Do you have a source for this? I was planning on grinding out my BSc in the event I didn't get in for the fall 2021 intake... ?
  13. Hey. Do you happen to have the STATS equivalency chart? I'm currently studying at UBC and have BIOL 300 completed. However, BC transfer guide says that the equivalence of this course is STATS 1181 while some people have told me that BIOL 300 will be accepted.
