I have 3.67 too but I have retakes! I’m assuming you don’t?

thank you! I have few questions:

Is it manageable to work 20-25 hours part time while in school? 
how many papers do we typically need to write each semester?

and lastly, do we get a break in between semesters?

Working 20-25 hours part time is doable! I have a lot of classmates who did this and it worked out great. Just keep in mind the work load increases as the terms progresses. 

Each semester usually has only one paper! Some of them require some prep that involves your clinicals but they're not terribly hard. I recommend asking the prof lots of questions during office hours for guidance and clarification. 

Langara doesn't have Summer breaks so the only ones we get are between the end of exams and the beginning of the next semesters. They're usually 2-4 weeks long and our finals are usually in the first week of finals season so it's a good amount of break.

Just a heads up for the term 1's starting in the fall - you can see the course times and profs on the website now. 

The 1260 prof that is currently listed there is amazing.

hey guys I have a question! I was trying to do my criminal record check and I got this message" The system could not complete your request to initiate a criminal record check online. A copy of this form can be printed using the "Print" button below. A signed and dated version of this form can be submitted by the organization to the Criminal Records Review Program to initiate a criminal record check." Did anyone else get this message??

Hello!

Yep, I got the same message so I contacted admissions and the lady who replied told me to partially fill out the form and show ID (I gave 2) and email the form and IDs back to her. Then she told me that I will receive an email about the $28 payment after she submits the form to the ministry. I just got the email about the payment from the ministry recently even though I emailed admissions in early may so you should email admissions soon to get that started

Hey, incoming term 1 student here and I was wondering if you had an opinion on taking Phil 1105 before term 6 such as in term 1.
