Langara Fall 2018 Intake

Hey guys,

I'm applying to Langara for the fall 2018 intake. Just wondering if there's anyone else on here that's applying too?

Got waitlisted with a 3.5 as well :( seems like this intake is going to be harder to get into than the last one... Goodluck to everyone and never lose hope!!! By the way, do any of you guys know if they sent out the offers to the 80 students already or they first do the degree holders then the highest GPA and so on.... Let me know please!! Thanks!

According to the email sent out: "Your application is complete, however the program is currently full for the above intake." So they've filled the 80 spots. Hopefully some of those spots open up for us though!

I got waitlisted with a 3.33 GPA :( I'm wishing there's hope but I might have to try for January 2019...

Awee damn it, I guess now we must wait for other schools to accept students so we will have our own spots haha! Also, I read on the last Fall 2017 thread that there was a student that got in with a 3.5 right away but some students with 3.5 or 3.6 got waitlisted but eventually got accepted (a month after).. I don't understand I thought they do it in order .... from highest GPA to the lowest... So bummed, really thought a 3.5 would give me a good shot, what do ya'll think should I retake more classes or a 3.5 sound reasonable?? SEND HELP.. lol losing hope.

i think 3.5 is totally doable if you try the next intake. it seems like this intake was really rough and there were a lot more degree holders than usual. i'd give next semester a try since 3.5 is really high!
