Hi There!

Second time applicant to LAHC ADN program. Anyone else turning in applications tomorrow?

I just got mine this morning as well! Definitely still in shock. I was wondering if anyone who has taken the TEAS already maybe give me a little advice on what I should focus most on in the science area? Any help is really appreciated. Thanks and congrats to everyone who got an invite!

Did you buy the practice test(s) on the ati website? I know someone currently in the program now and she said that the practice tests are just like the actual TEAS exam. Its a hit or miss about the science section. I highly suggest to just go over every function of the body and know the purpose of each system in detail. You got this don’t stress ?

Sent mine over Friday as well! Do you know who we call to confirm they received it, admissions or nursing?? Good luck everyone

As long as it shows it sent on the ATI website, you should be fine.

I've had transcripts not make it places even though it said they did, or maybe they made it and it got misplaced. I also had a school tell me they didn't receive my TEAS scores after I had it sent, by then it was too late to make the application process. I want to be sure they receive it, never know what could happen.

Hello everyone !!
Did anyone get invited to take the TEAS exam on November 22nd?

I did and I am extremely stressing it out !!!!

I have been studying non stop...really excited that i got invited but also nervous because it is not an admission letter. its a 50/50...anybody else on this boat?

Hello Aadams91,

I also got my TEAS invitation, last thursday!
I got my book thru the ATI website and went over to barnes and nobles and purchased the Prep Plus Second edition by Kaplan. I have been studying only the science section and going over everything and just writing notes and rewriting important concepts... once i am done i will intent the practice exams!

Seriously good luck! I know what it feels like to be so excited and studying but yet stressed out!

Has anyone talked to anyone in the nursing department about the selection process this year? I know they're selecting 50% based on points and 50% on a lottery basis, but how does that work? Did they select 50% based on highest points for just the TEAS invite portion, or will they do the same for the final process (if theoretically everyone had passing scores on the TEAS)?
