Nursing Students School Programs

Updated:   Published

Has anyone applied to LAGCC for the fall 2021 semester? I applied a few months ago, but the wait has been so long and lonely ?. It would be nice to connect with others who have applied as well.

Your stats are great! I really hope you get in ?

Thank you ?

Hi Laguadians,Has anyone receive any decision letter for the LPN program for Fall 2021? I learnt the letter will sent out beginning from 2nd week week of July.I don't know if we are already in the 2nd week of July or not.I learnt they will admit only 100 students for the LPN program.

I apply for the RN program but my adviser told me yesterday that they will respond to us on July 13

Hi, I haven't received a letter yet. I'm assuming they'll send the letters out next week or the week after.

And we do have to be vaccined by the 25th of August

So that means ,they will respond to both RN and LPN or just RN only on July 13?

I think it’s both at the same time so good luck to us ?

Hey guys! I applied for the LPN program. I'm really nervous! My 4 key course grades are:

SSY 101: A

MAT 106: A

SCB 203: A-

ENG 101: C

I'm a little nervous due to my "C" grade in English, (Unfortunately I got that at my previous college, when I was younger). Do you guys think that will affect my chances?

Also, someone here mentioned that they are accepting 100 students for LPN, is that true? Where did you hear that?

Your grades are good! Hopefully, the C won't affect your chances.

A classmate of mine applied to the LPN program for Fall 2020 and was placed on the waiting list with a GPA of 3.1. She was ranked 8th on the list. I'm not sure what your GPA is, but I think you have a good chance.

All the best ! Keep us updated

Hi dear....I asked the staff of the LPN department .I was told LPNs students are admitted once every year, thus 100 students are admitted to the program and it is always in Fall. And the selection is mainly based on one's GPA.So am sure your grade C won't affect you that much...I wish you good luck...?.Hope for the best.

So was your friend finally admitted into the LPN program?

Unfortunately, she was still on the waiting list, so she re-did one of the courses and applied again for this fall.
