Laguardia community college RN program

Published

Hi, I applied to the RN program for this coming Fall 2016. I am just curious, for those of you that have been accepted, what was your GPA? I have heard a lot of conflicting advice and I would like to hear from people that were actually accepted. Right now I have a 3.85 GPA.

My grades have been:

English 101: A

English 102: A

Psych, SSY 101: A-

Statistics, MAT120: A-

Right now I am taking SCB 203 and SCC110. I am not doing very good in chemistry but I am striving to get a B or B+ and hoping for no lower than A- in Anatomy & physiology. I am also taking A&P 2 in the short semester and going to try for an A. I've already applied for RN so if I don't get in, I guess I will try for LPN next year. I just want to know if I have any hope! Thanks in advance.

Hi Jepaly,

Did You get in?

My current grades are Eng 101, Eng 102, SSY 101, SCC 110 = A, and in SCB 203 = B, MAT 120 = B+. I am very much worried for my A&P B grade. Currently I am taking SCB 204. Upcoming Jan 16, 2018, department will enclose who got in. if there is any chance, I will get in.

I was on a waiting list. I ended up moving to Pennsylvania last summer and I'm a nursing student at PA college of health sciences now, should be graduating next year.

Hi Jepaly,

Thank you so much for your reply. I think I will not get in with B in A&P. The competition is though! Best of luck!
