LAC+USC interview new grad RN

Hey guys, I have a question. I had an interview with LAC+USC and received a letter that I passed the oral exam. I read in the letter that they are going to contact me if positions open up. I am a new grad RN. Have you been in my situation? How long does it take until they call you? Do we have another interview after the oral interview or this is it? Please share your experience with me..thank you

hi. was wondering for those of you who got hired and did the live scan recently (within the year), how long did you have to wait before getting your background clearance to move onto doing the physical clearance?

This varies for everyone, but for most people it takes 2-4 weeks. If you have convictions, your file and livescan results will be sent to another department to evaluate what you reported on your application against what your livescan turns up. Any discrepancies will require them to contact you for more info.

What unit? I've interviewed for like 5 positions. I'm still waiting but I know it takes a while.

Hi, I know its been more than a year, but how was the OR training at LAC+USC? Did you like it?

I ended up getting hired at UC Irvine Medical Center. It will be 2 years in Feb. Wow, time flies. At one time, I was really hoping for LA USC ED I even went to volunteer there but was turned down because I'm an RN. Anyhoo, I'm content working the tele floor at UCI. I was able to volunteer at UCI and I think that was key in getting me to stand out above all the other 300 applicants.

For those that get hired, how long did you wait to get a call back/email (whether you got hired or not) after your interview??

It took a out 30 days and they didn't call me they sent me a letter in the mail. I also applied at harbor ucla and I got a call back about 3 hours later that I got the position

Just wanna ask the people here if I can apply to USC even if I didnt pass the online test at UCLA harbor? I know theyre both La County, so thats why I am wondering.

Hi LnMaR I was reading through the forum and saw that your live scan clearance took some time. Did it get cleared eventually? and how long did it take for you?
