LAC+USC interview new grad RN

Hey guys, I have a question. I had an interview with LAC+USC and received a letter that I passed the oral exam. I read in the letter that they are going to contact me if positions open up. I am a new grad RN. Have you been in my situation? How long does it take until they call you? Do we have another interview after the oral interview or this is it? Please share your experience with me..thank you

Hey guys after being offered the position did you get a letter from HR to call them within 5 days to talk about the position or something? I just received the letter and no one is answering... Just wondering what it's about.

No. All I got was this colored piece of paper from Nurse Recruitment that had a timeline of events to expect; to go to HR, wait for the physical, and then another call from HR who will discuss scurbs, benefits etc. I actually called HR concerning this a month ago and the lady on the phone was upset and told me HR will call me when they get the approval from Nurse Recruitment for the position. And as we know we're still all waiting for it. Did you get another letter? I haven't heard anything in over a month :confused:

I go on Monday to complete my physical and then take my clearance to recruitment I'll ask them if they have any info on budget, anybody have any other questions you want me to ask while I'm there?

I called lac+USC today and they told me to send my resume and they would call when they had something available. This seems very different from Harbor who have told me to just keep calling. Hoping to hear something positive soon.

I was told that they hope budget is done in the next month because they would like to get everyone who is cleared in before the holidays/end of year. She gave me a paper with the start dates from this point and there are three left 2 in November and one in December. Now it's just waiting on the phone call with a start date

That's good news! I'm taking over someone's position. That's why it took so long for them to offer the job because they wanted to make sure the person wasn't going to change their mind. Hopefully I get to start in December. Thanks for the update Kristy!

med surg i think in diabetic unit. i completed everything on 9/25. goodluck!! i hope to meet you guys at orientation
