Get ahold of a Diagnostic and Laboratory Test Reference book(Mosby's). They should have one either at school or at your workplace. The book will tell you values and explaination of test and phisiology involved, as well as what conditions produce low or high values. Hope this helps. Good luck with your paper.

I tried typing these into www.google.com and found many sites that will explain these.
Good luck.
