Hello! I applied for the Fall 2020 cycle at Pierce. I just wanted to have a place to discuss it and also to see how everyone’s application process is going.

I've emailed them and they've just asked me to provide a number to reach me with but still haven't gotten a call from them.

I’m sorry to hear that! When they ask you for a number to call you at is there a name associated with the email? It seems crazy that they have not given you any information.

it seems like a generic email. I'm convinced they didn't see my acceptance email and gave my spot away. I left them a message and emailed again,

Im literally in the same position. I just wish they were honest and will tell us whats really going on

Did you have to use a permission code? I just tried and it won’t let me add the classes without a permission code.

Have you tried to email one of the professors directly or are you emailing the department of nursing? I know they are very slow to respond. It’s got to be very frustrating.

I haven't. But I will try! Thank you for the suggestion. I'll email the chair, I hopefully she can help.

I emailed Professor Lemus before they got back to me with my follow up and she was quick to respond

I emailed the department chair on July 8th and haven't received an email back. No one has called me back or emailed me.

Today I was told they never got my acceptance email and that they had given away my spot. This was clearly a clerical error as I had sent my acceptance before the deadline. I forwarded the email I sent to the department last month and they said they would look into it.

So if anyone is in a similar situation, please check with them because there is a chance that they may not have seen your acceptance email and gave your spot away.
