LA General New Grad Program 2025

UPDATE: Changes: New Log In Requirement

Hey Everyone , 

I just received an offer from LA General, I haven't gotten the details pertaining to start date but I believe it will be in April from what I was told during my interview. I want to connect with anybody else that is set to start here keep each other updated! 

 

 

So I interviewed for county about 10 day ago but when I asked when I'd find out whether I got the job or not they said I wouldn't be able to start till as late as of November or December and I didn't correct them in the misinterpretation of my question (my bad).  I've called nursing recruitment and they said I will get an email or phone call if anything. Has anyone else had an interview while they had the hiring freeze and got an offer? How long was it till they notified you? Do they tell people they didn't get the job or have they ghosted anyone?  Or are they waiting to notify people till the hiring freeze is lifted?

Just curious, but were you contacted for an interview after getting banded? Did you call the nursing recruitment office to get said interview?

I'm banded for two RN I postings now; I did a video interview that consisted of filming myself answering questions on my laptop on their website for the second listing, and received another score and band for that. I'm not sure where that places me in the process, or if I should be initiating by calling the office or not...

Anyone also get that email about interviews for OR (Preoperative Services)? I never called so fast!

hii. I feel a little lost. after we send our bandwidth results and cover letter, etc; are we supposed to call them? or do they get back to us via email for any interviews automatically? how do we know what number to call?

where do you guys apply for the county hospitals? I am having a hard time finding the website to apply

Yes, if you have less than 12 months of experience, from this application you are placed into their new grad program, which is available at anytime of the year. Los Angeles County does not advertise for a new grad RN position like hospitals or other other counties.
